The National Nurses Association of Kenya (NNA-Kenya) collects personal information you provide when you apply for membership, renew your subscription, register for training or events, contact the secretariat, or use our website. This may include:

  • National ID number and identification documents
  • Nursing qualifications, cadre and licence details
  • Subscription and payment records
  • Training, CPD and event attendance records
  • Website usage data (via cookies)
Purpose

How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to administer your membership, process subscriptions, deliver training and CPD records, organise events, comply with our legal obligations, and communicate with you. We may also use it to improve our services and, where you have consented, to send you Association updates.

We will never sell your data to third parties, nor will we use it for any purpose that is incompatible with the reason for which it was collected.

Internal

Secretariat staff and IT personnel who require access to perform their essential role.

Service Providers

External IT providers, accountants, and professional advisers operating under strict data processing agreements.

Authorities

Regulatory bodies, external auditors and government authorities where required by law or regulatory obligation.

Data Sovereignty

Your personal data is stored and processed in Kenya. Where data must be transferred outside Kenya, we do so only on the grounds permitted by the Data Protection Act, 2019 and with appropriate safeguards in place.
