The NNA-Kenya Midwives Chapter is committed towards the realization of the Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5 as well as implementation of WHO priority programs related to maternal child health.
It is mandated with provision of a sustained enabling environment for responsive, efficient and timely midwifery care that is accessible, affordable and acceptable to all women, families, and Kenyan communities. As thus, the chapter oversees the maintenance of high standards of midwifery practices in Kenya.
Planning for annual scientific conferences to bring together midwifery specialists to evaluate their contribution to the welfare of the Kenyan population as well as strategize on sealing any existing loopholes in midwifery practice as we expeditiously strive towards the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5.
