My goal is to advocate, participate and influence to the highest level of policy formulation towards the attainment of equitable, quality and sustainable health care for all, with special emphasis to women and children health rights.

My responsibilities.

Chairperson- National Nurses Association of Kenya.

With an aim to advance the nursing profession and to enable nurses speak with one voice to transform the health system.

Director – Advocacy Kenya Healthcare Federation the private arm of Kenya private Sector alliance that works to be the voice of the private sector in health.

Deputy National Coordinator PPIUD FIGO_KOGS –Kenya initiative- an initiative that seeks to institutionalize routine practice of the provision of IUD in the immediate post-partum among women in six sites in Kenya, as a cost effective methods among the armamentarium of family planning options.

Vice Chair- Resuscitation council of Kenya.

My passion: Conducting research that informs change, networking and collaborations and pursuit of excellence in health and all spheres of life.

My achievements in women and girls’ rights: I come from one of the marginalized communities in Kenya however, I have developed successful anti Female Genital campaigns, with AMREF as an organization. Launched the first major alternative rites of passage for Maasai girls in 2008 with ADRA and Seventh Day school.
